Right. Again you are proving our point. You have set pictures in your head of all CMAs.

It is funny though CMA gets this huge over-generalization, that is deserved.

Yet, If I went through pics of disasters and posted Karate pics, KK guys would be up in arms and saying that is krotty not what we do.

Read Asia's post again he and Omega are parts of the problem.

It is Fake?? What Asia meant when he was talking about 'traditional' in MMA guys is the Budo spirit they showed in the ring. The never say die attitude they show when they are punching it out. It has nothing to do with how low someone can go in a front-leaning stance. It’s about following the warrior spirit to train and to fight.

The reason why I showed the link to Stances of disaster was to show that those weird stances mimicking cat’s and cranes those not work and probably never did anyway.

I think the weird looking stuff, where it had any purpose at all, was for stretching and strengthening legs. Don't you have anything fruity looking in kyokushin katas ?

I'm sure that's the case. But I'm sure with over 1000 Kung-fu styles there are many that use 'silly-stances-of-danger'for excercises, much less still believe that as a traditional fighting stance that can be used effectively for fighting IMO.

This is more what I expect CMA sparring to look like.
So let me get this straight. You want to compare a purple/blue sash to my rank and professional level. aaaaaand let's take a look on how bjj high whites fight compared to professional level. Now amateur Thai boxer (1 year experiance) to professional and instructor. Not the same is it?

Why does anyone bother to seriously respond to TBK posts anymore?

Not at all, I'm merely showing what I consider to be typical CMA sparring.

Because he's close to breaking point and it's not going to take much before changes his style field to some obscure 2000-year old CMA style.

In that case, yeah, that's CMA sparring. Didn't see anything wrong with it except them trying **** the wouldn't really work (outside crescent kick and a butterfly kick)
