Yeah, I was 14 at the time and it was my intro to MA. But I quit. You STILL do Wing Chun, Systema, and TKD. So I'd keep my mouth shut if I were you.
No, we didn't do flying kicks. We had the spinning kicks and high kicks and spinny high double kicks, but from the year I was there for (attended class at least twice a week, 4 times at most and then my instructor said it was too much. Yeah... go figure) we only had 1 class where we had both feet off the ground. And then we stopped because we kept hitting our heads on the ceiliings because they were very low.
Just saw the clip. That guy is amazing. I didn't see any flying kicks though. Those weren't what I meant and you know it. Those were all spinning kicks with a hop. Not a Liu Kang Flying Dragon Kick like the guy in the clip did. Which doesn't count, because his opponent WAS RUNNING AWAY FROM HIM.
I don't watch much Muay Thai. Please show me flying kicks. I know there's flyiing knees. We're talking about flying kicks, though. -

.hmmm 3 knockouts where he levitates himself in the air kicks opponent in the head opponent gets knocked out kicker then with both feet waist height lands on back beside knocked out opponent.... yes that is a very large hop... you might almost call it a jump.. or even a jumping kick...

I've been robbed at knifepoint. I didn't piss myself, but I did hand over the money. I was 45 lbs. lighter and completely untrained at the time, but I can say in all honesty that if it happened again now I'd still hand over my money. Cash ain't worth dying for. This guy was an idiot, and he's really lucky he got robbed by a total *****.

Hey man; in the third world if your robbed, usually the guys shoot you or will come back again and again since they know you will hand money over.
I would have handed the money over.
But i can understand why he fought back; in his mind he didnt want to be a victim.
Besides, this guy used a knife; the iranian guy picked up a pair of box cutters and a pair of scissors.
If the dude had a gun then he would have been dead. -

I like how on this issue it's the Iranian immigrant that understands you defend what you own and the americans and brittish people saying "Just hand it over"
Don't get me wrong, I'm not going to try to grab a gun over a wallet-full of money most of the time, but there's a point - I mean, you can't let some guy just rob your store with a knife. He ran the guy out of his place with his tail between his legs, and that's good. Yeah, IF IF IF, fine, whatever. That iranian guy didn't look stupid or weak, he probably wouldn't have tried that if the guy had a bigger pair or a gun. . .There's no choice but to confront you, to engage you, to erase you. I've gone to great lengths to expand my threshold of pain. I will use my mistakes against you. There's no other choice. -

This is true to an extent, however if I'm playing 25-100 a hand and some drunkard starts making stupid bets that screw the deck for the whole table it is easy to get a little annoyed. It is my money though, so I'll be the one to leave the table.
