Do you just know people do Martial Arts?
I was eating a chocolate sunday at an ice cream parlor and this kid jumped out this truck. I immediatley started sizing him up for some reason. I wondered if that 18 or 19 year old kid does boxing. It had to do something with the way he looks or something I really don't know. Soon after I thought that, he assumed a Muay Thai stance and started to jokingly box with his father.
I even hear weird ass stuff in Kung Fu movies like, "I could tell from the way you walk you do Kung Fu."
My question is can you just tell that people do martial arts?

No. Anybody can make it look like they know something by imitating what they see on tv.
I've seen guys step up to the punching bag and assume a boxing stance. Once they throw a punch, you can see that they know little to nothing.

Personally, I just wait until I see them in action. That usually answers the question real quick. :jerkit2yf

He was punching him like the collective karmic debt he'd accrued was coming to collections, mostly on his face.

No, I know what you mean. I can tell when someone knows how to handle himself, they carry themselves differently. They might be cops, soldiers, martial artists,or anything - but they "vibe." Maybe I'm just marking myself as an idiot - again.

I guess it's kind of like that. You can tell and look at someone and tell if they are a cop or a soldier.

I usually look for the guy with the worst fashion sense who is the most full of himself for no apparent reason. Nine times out of ten they're involved in some dipshit martial art cooked up in someone's basement or garage. K

Good war-gaming, basically. Nice to see he'd hate to ever have to arrest me too :wrestlerf

I met a guy once who randomly, out of nowhere, did a TKD-style roundhouse kick in front of me with pretty good control. I asked him if he did TKD and he said no, he had never done martial arts.
In conclusion, anyone can fake it. That's kind of what this site is about isn't it?

I've had a lot of people assume I'm some sort of super hero when it comes to martial arts simply because I'm one of the token asians in my area.
I've also had someone assume I could bench 300 lbs in my freshman year in high school.
Thus... people can't tell crap...
