I thought that the SOCOM was cool until I read a review of it in American Rifleman. The accuracy is not any better than my Romanian Ak but it costs 2,000 dollars! Ya it shots 308 and not 7.62X39 but for two grand I want better than four inch patterns at 100 yards.

Remember, kids, no "Pre-Ban" worries anymore. "Pre-Ban" guns are now exactly the same thing you can buy new on the shelf. The only "Post-Bans" in existence anymore are that way because of stupid state laws or because it wasn't worth it to affix a bayonet lug or a flash suppressor just to annoy sissies.

It reminds me of my friend who thought his SKS was the ultimate weapon. :dead: That was until I built my AR and not only out shot him on an accuracy course but also placed my shots better on a tactical course. -
