With two of the three obvious whip jokes out of the way, 30 seconds of googleing turned up a book "The Filipino Fighting Whip" by Tom Meadows. On the plus side he talked with some dog brothers about whips and full contact fighting, but on the down side, it's through paladin press and has a foreword by Dan Inosanto.

    www.paladin-press.com/detail.aspx?ID=1238

I also found www.bullwhip.org which is hilarious but has nothing but a broken link about fighting with a whip.

Also, fighting with a whip is pretty awesome. Especially if your whip is really a wet towel and your target is someone else in the locker room.
You can't make people smarter. You can expose them to information, but your responsibility stops there.

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA! You funny guy! Do you have a profile on there?

Question: I had always heard that the yo yo was a Filippino hunting weapon for killing birds.

Now when I lived in the Philippines I heard no such thing. Does anyone know?
People often tell me that I fail to see the gravity of the situation.
I see the gravity, and I say...

Step right up folks and watch me defy gravity!

i train in mars, the "system" of ron balicki, it does include the "combative whip", but as our time is limited we never train whip.

i might take some private sessions, but i don't know where i can buy a good whip at a fair price.

I believe Sayoc's belt would be long enough to make 2 or 3 efficient whips. Do we have a smilie for "fatass"?

I actually personally trained with him as my old instructor was a personal student of his. He a lot of skill. But, he is really fat. Just more body to hide knives on.
