I may never forgive the director of the first movie (was it Chronenberg or Lynch, I can never remember) for taking Muad'dib's assertation that he could kill with the voice - as the Kwisatch Hadach - and turning it into some bizarre Fedaykin weapon... Wasn't a bunch of crazed space arabs on giant worms bad enough?

Btw, prepare for a deluge of comments stating that Lynch's version is a masterpiece and you're clearly an idiot for not realising it (usually from people who've never read the book).
