    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    True MA lies.

    My friend has a poster in his room with the true musician's lies. Among them are gems such as;
"The roadies will have that taken care of"
"Jagger: Well, I'm not going to stand on stage and sing Satisfaction whem I'm 40. Never!"
"This gig is 100% certain. It starts at eight" :icon_razz
    "It's in the car"
"Ok, I'll turn it down a bit"
    and
"We'll take care of that in the mixing"

So I wonder what lies martial arts practicioners use. Those that come to mind are.
BJJer: "We do takedowns every week", "No muscling in this session. Take it easy"
TKDer: "At our club, they teach us to keep our hands up."

    What do you guys have?

I suggest you also place a translation:

BJJer: "We do takedowns every week", "No muscling in this session. Take it easy"

I like this one alot. It basically means go 110% until your eardrums bleed and your head explodes from exertion.

TKDer: "At our club, they teach us to keep our hands up."

Since we don't punch at the face anyway, we perserve this illusion.

BJJ: The Gracies created a new style with new stuff, they didn't took things from everyone else and gave it another name!

Kickboxing/MT: Dude I can totally Knock you the **** out before you can take me down

Shaolin Do - "You guys spar at close to 100%? In my martial art, we can only spar at 20% or we'll kill each other."

Less funny until you realize that a fat guy actually told me that once. And was serious.

That makes sense to me. Spar at 100% full out and you'll have two dead Shaolin Doers.....from cardiac arrest......
