I say TKD (especially ATA TKD). The guy would just spinning back-kick the gun out of the other guy's hand before he gets a shot off.

Last week, the local TKD instructor was assailed by three would-be muggers, he beat the crap out of the three of them. This guy is in shape and the muggers were not, but still, when I heard about it, it kind of shocked me.

Just as a note about TKD in a self-defense situation...I don't know about where you live, but I've been told by cops around here that they would consider a kick to the head as "assault with intent to kill".

That sounds a little ridiculous to me, but I dunno. I'd imagine they usually think of kicking the head in terms of curb stompings and soccer kicks though. Most people can't kick that high.
