Pretty much all of the RMA guys I guess.

I don't know - though fist fights in general seem quite popular there :-)

Does that particular style/rules have a name?

To me, it looked somewhat like the way people move when they're doing the 'Biu Tze' from Wing Chun, swinging the body around, throwing elbows over the top.

The 'linear' way of moving in Wing Chun is how it is in the first two forms.

IIRC there was a thread on bullshido a while ago about Russian/former 'eastern bloc' MMA fighters throwing 'looping' punches.

Now I reveal the secret I've been withholding. This is a typical Omar maneuver to avoid biasing the responses too much.

I have ZERO first hand knowledge about the mythical 52 blocks, but from reading descriptions of it, this is what it might look like. I'm still waiting on a response from Tom Green, but maybe RobG will come around and drop a comment on it?

Hate to resurrect this thread, but Tom Green (prof of anthro at Texas A&M, http://anthropology.tamu.edu/faculty/green/profile.htm), finally got back to me with a little video.

A former jailee in the NY prison system speaks about 52 and shows off a tiny bit of it in this youtube video. Start watching at 2:09, where a guy explains in jail, you had to be good with your hands.

Compare that little demo to the two russian guys. It's similar. But nothing as jaw dropping as jaw-dropping as the 5 ancestors set vs. karate resemblance.
