Once again! JP has not ever, ever, ever, ever studied Wing Chun under anybody. The pretense of Wing Chun comes from Demile (Wing Chun Do/ The original FSD) which has nothing to do with Wing Chun. They took bits and pieces of Sil Leem Tao and murdered it with some kind of dynamic tension and heavy breathing. They use words like Pak, Tan, Phon, but they have no idea what they are talking about. ( If you think you know, FSD'ers, I be glad to enlighten you). They Chi Sao by "loading" forward and muscling everything they do.
Pick up the book by James Yimm Lee, who admits to learning "a little" Wing Chun from Bruce Lee. Bruce Lee was a junior Wing Chun practioner. Most of JP's Phon attacks???? come from this book.
JP has his BS and Amway way of business, coming around to bite him in the ass.
And yet this man, is making a fortune! Go figure!

Please read the whole thread. You will see it isn't a bash on WC it is a bash on JP.

This is the wrong site to try and defend WC.

A slippery ************ who has no problem signing up with FSD after reading this thread. Who has no problem in dealing with a sifu who tells a prospective customer all about a former student. Who gets confused as to what style it is he has a black belt in' karate, jiu jitsu, kung fu, it's all the same"

Sounds like you are quite familiar with JP's way of doing things. Are you are former student, or have you trained with former students of JP?

that is not true, BJJ teaches how to fight on the ground, teaches how to wrestle, if a person is good, they wont end up on the ground, because they strike too fast, therefor BJJ ends up useless..

yeah yeah i know ill hear internet warriors saying "blah blah ill come kick your ass with my l337 wrastling skills!"

dont bother, keep it in the ufc, they like that ground hugging there.
Yeah, but you are here just to ask questions. Hmmmm.........I wonder why Sam said protect your IP.

My instructor was obsessed with training. Having trained with an original student of Bruce Lee, he was determined to keep the same level of physical realization as Bruce Lee did. He even went on to duplicating Lee's two-finger one arm push-ups as well as the strenuous, arms extended, thumbs push-ups.

When reproducing such acts of strength and endurance you acquire credibility and respect. When I first saw him do those push-ups it blew me away.

The above is from the link provided by madmax in post 760. it is nice that your instructor inspires you. Convenient that he skips mentioning the part that when he first saw his father do these pushups, Martin P would have been a toddler.
Can JP still do the two finger pushup? That would be impressive.

And he's back. You know FSD's a made-up martial art don't you shadow beast?

And sifu isn't qualified by anyone- unless you count qualifications he's bought.

Still keep coming back? Why do you bother.......if you are so sure you are right it doesn't matter what anyone else says.......right?
