    Some examples of effective Filipino martial arts implementations are Dog Brothers and Straight Blast Gym are both street effective styles that include BJJ. Lots of good videos on both sites.

    What I know about FMA's (Arnis, Kali, Escrima) is that they are mainly centered around the use of knife and stick. Though I believe there is some study in empty hand fighting as well. Sorry, that's probably not much of a contribution. I suppose an FMA'er needs to post on all that.

    Thanks for all the help everyone. I'll try to sit in on both of the classes, and see which I'll like better.
