Henry Wang. No touch bullshido.

Mr Wang believes that he can manipulate people without touching them by projecting his chi. Look at the videos on the bottom of the page.

From the site:

"Sceptics doubt the existence of such chi transmission and claim that any actions on the receiver’s part are due to “cooperation” between teacher and student. They feel the student is pressured to respond as his/her master wishes, and then the master is deluded in thinking he has special powers."

Thats's excatly what we say and he continues with:

"This issue of cooperation is a difficult one to resolve. Master Wang's students have reported different reactions after working with him in a no touch session. Some are extremely sensitive to energy and literally fall over when Master Wang works with them. Others feel little and can’t understand why others are responding when they don’t. One explanation is that one has to develop sensitivity to energy, just as Master Wang needs to develop transmission skills."

It isn't a difficult issue to resolve and a simple double blind, placebo controlled experiment would determine if such powers really exist or not. What this is basicly alluding to is that some people won't co-operate in the delusion and some will, but over time people will learn to co-operate and go along with it.

Now if you thought those previous videos were amusing watch and be amazed of Mr Wang uses his chi to make you get down and breakdance! (check vids at bottom of page)

There you have it. It's his "way out" of any skeptical inquiry. His chi won't work if you don't want it to work. Just like you don't feel God if you don't believe in him.
He will never push a non-compliant person over without touching them using chi. It's bunk, superstition and fraud. Pure and simple.

There was something like this on the discovery channel. These two guys were uncovering frauds and one of them was a chi blast expert. It looked like it was a Karate school. One of them asked them to try to chi blast him. He stood right in front of him with his eye closed while he did the chi blast and nothing happened. The explanation to why it didn't work was because they said he wasn't a believer.

That means you actually have to TRAIN to become more VULNERABLE? What the hell ?

Notice in the first video, when he is "manipulating" his student to sit down and get back up, every time the student gets up he has to push with his hands on the couch, clearly showing the student is standing because he wants to and not because he is beeing manipulated.

If anyone can get to one of these no-touch seminars I dearly would like to see someone take a glass of water and walk across the room to the isntructor, challanging him to stop you from pouring the water over his head. Now that would make a good video that would be on the net for years.
