Irish Travellers (sometimes known as "pikeys", "itinerants" or "Tinkers") are a very small minority group in Ireland. They make up less than 1% of the population with approximately 23,000 people in the Republic and another 1,500 in the North. It is also estimated that there are about 15,000 Irish travellers in Britain and another 10,000 in the USA. Irish Travellers belong to a distinct ethnic group within Ireland. They have their own language, beliefs and social customs which have been made stronger over time due to their exclusion and marginalisation from mainstream "settled" society.

For the record I hate Travellers as they are criminals and not one of them pay taxes despite earning millions in illegal trading. But enough of my racial issues here's the video:

I think I've seen this before. They're a tough bunch of motherfuckers! I wish I could fight out on some backroad to nowhere for £10000. But not with these guys. They'd probably kick my ass with their rules. Ha. I have to work on my boxing.

I'm supprised that their hands didn't shatter like glass what with punching to the head with no real gloves and all :)

You'd be surprised, a thin pair of leather gloves can give you a helluva lot of protection.

I thought it was a cool vid, reminds me of the old-school bare-knuckle fights. Whether he knew it or not, the guy with the red gloves was using an infighter trick, keeping the jab up in the guy's face then wading into him for some close-in punching and body blows. They had a few choppers in there too (basically hammer-fists). Cool find.
