    Hell yeah! Hell no!

Sweden sweeps the european BJJ championships

Once again Sweden shows that it is the undisputed number 1 european nation in brazilian jiu jitsu.. First, here are the academy results:

    Adult
1o- Hilti BJJ (Sweden, based in Stockholm)
    2o- Gracie Barra
3o- Brasa (Sweden, based in Malmo)

    Master & Senior:

    1o- Brasa
    2o- Gracie Humaita
    3o- Hilti BJJ

Second, I count no less than 15 gold medals (of which one was in the black belt category, and several in the brown belt category) 13 silver medals and a few bronze medals for Brasa and Hilti combined.

Congratulations to all my former instructors at Brasa Lund and Hilti Stockholm.

I pointed at him [the panhandler], bringing my rear hand up in a subtle approximation of the double Wu Sau guard that is the default hand position in Wing Chun Kung Fu.

    "Step away," I hissed.

I think Brasa is based in Brazil. Most of the Brasa fighters in the tourney were from swedish clubs however so I am sure that the awesomeness trickles down onto me as well.

Bamse was there too and managed to win his first match.

I only included the people that were included in Brasa Sweden's belt rankings when calculating medals.

Has Bamse gotten his blue yet?

Bamse is still a white, but I expect Peter to come over soon to glue stuff onto people's belts and stuff like that. Maybe he'll get it then.

If I compete in no gi I will try to get hold of one of those leotards there...
