What a pathetic comeback. I love how he never stops talking about how he doesn't care what anyone else thinks, yet can't seem to stop writing about it. He publishes a new dissertation where he justifies his existance to the world at least once a month.
I pointed at him [the panhandler], bringing my rear hand up in a subtle approximation of the double Wu Sau guard that is the default hand position in Wing Chun Kung Fu.
"Step away," I hissed.

Times like these make me regret owning so many flashlights. I currently have six Mini Maglights sitting around this room, this is the kind of light Phil turns into pocket sticks. How can he bastardize such an innocent little penlight? At least he doesn't have the balls to mess with Surefire, those lights are too much for that guy to handle. 60 lumens through those glasses of his would probably burn his head right through.

So does that mean if I ever grapple with you I should wear a red hammer and sickle speedo, like Zangief?

Is this the same sort of critical eye Phil directed at World War II combatives, including his almighty chin jab?“nobody shoots anybody in the face unless you’re a hit man or a video gamer.” - Jack Thompson

Kick boxing is ok, but don't expect do beat a man like Rickson Gracie with that. You need a real martial art. You need Xing Yi Quan. -Emptyflower
The splits, how ever, have a few martial uses. Doing the splits for me, can put my fists in testical strike range.
dont ignore the Art for the Martial or else your just kick boxing
Yes i am serious, there are kicks that can block punches. we have them in Moo duk kwan.
I want to learn how to use them in case my arm gets broken in a fight.
what would you have me do? if my arm gets broke, not block punches? -sempi-stone
