NEW Tae Kwon Do VS Muay Thai video

Okay.. what we have here is Japanese TKD fighter VS a Thai fighter. The rules suck.. no punching or elbows to the face. The TKD fighter puts up an ok fight at first with some small side kicks, round-house kicks, an axe-kick that barely hit the Thai's face, and a jump spin side kick that missed. The Thai took over with the powerful round-house kicks. Before anybody says something like.. "TKD sucks" or "Muay Thai rules", just remember.. these are two different fighters. It could have been different if punches were allowed to the face and they had a good TKD fighter that didn't give up like this guy. But if anyone has any info on this event please hook it up with a site or something.

is it me, (i cant tell, it was a bit blurry) or was the TKD dude smirking and walking around the ring as if HE was the badass?

it looked like every failed kick of his was fallowed by a smug look.

one thing is for sure, this guys' legs were fuuuuuucked up after this match.
were there no clinches in the rule set as well?

Think the TKDer would learn not to do jumping kicks when the Thai boxer just kept kicking his bottom leg or not to spinning kicks when the Thai boxer would just jam him and follow with a roundhouse kick.

Fucking TKDers...

Jumping and Spinning kick != Bad Ass.

If punches and elbows were allowed to the face the TKD guy would have lost that much quicker. Its not like TKD is known for its awsome punching skills and this guy fought like your typical TKDer. Hands down, and falling down. I don't know what it is with TKD now that pple like to fall down. I was watching a vid on TKD tournament and everymatch was almost the same. KICK KICK KICK, MISS MISS MISS, fall down. And pple wonder why TKD gets a bad rap now. The only thing I pple used to do when I was coming up was the one leged thing but even then they didn't fall down all the time.

1) Benny is a Kickboxer first and foremost.

2) That wasn't K1, it was G5 (moron still hasn't realized that) and it was a FAKE fight. The MT guys wasn't a MT Fighter but someone who was told to dress like one.

TKD still sucks.
