Okay, I looked in the google video thread. All 12 pages. I didn't see anyone comment on it. I'm trying to ask you guys what you think of it. Not trying to boost my e-rep by being the first one to post this video.

So do you guys think it was a real fight?

I don't know it could have been real? If so, it was pretty cool. Does anyone have any info about the whole thing. I liked the ring layout.

There are multi colored neon lights surrounding them. It looks very corny. It is a demo, not a real fight.

I dunno about it being a demo after the fight started. Surely it started as such but I doubt the martial egos of those two obviously well-trained individuals would have accepted defeat. Would you let yourself get beat down for the sake of the demo?

EDIT: I should just give up on spelling and syntax.

I give the Monk victory by smirking! Pretty kicks, though.

It was a demo. There's been at least two threads on this before. The fight was choreographed and completely staged, nobody fights like that in real life. Their "martial egos" are probably nonexistent as neither of them are deadly combat warriors in anyway. Shaolin Monks are wushu performers these days and that particular type of TKD has lost its validity in any sort of full contact competition.

    I hope I didn't make anyone's head explode.

It doesn't even need to be choreographed to be a demo. I can do some fake sparring that is not choreographed but still "not real" and just made to look cool.

They purposly never really engage each other. It's just to demo their techniques.

It could also be that their just plain scared to get too close to each other and get hurt, hence the fighting range. But Kikkoman is right, it's probably just a fakesparring, entertainment match.
