My Grandpa is that cool, man.

He grew up in the black neighborhood in St Joe and has met BB King, Benny Goodman, Glen Miller etc. He has a wooden cane made out of a brass doorknob of a nightclub he used to bartend for that the owner had made for him as a present after he got back from Korea, oh and he has tons of Korean-war marines tats, he hangs around his house in a wife-beater but he's meticulous about, when he goes anywhere after 5pm, dressing up including tie and hat, just because that's 'what you do when you're going out'. Speaks hilarious cowboy spanish and has a giant silver mustache.

I hope I age into one-fifth the badass he is.

My other grandpa is a nice suburban GIGANTIC RACIST douchenozzle.

I agree on principle, but it's not to much for me. I'm 6'4", I could probably handle fashion imposition of up to six buttons on a suit before I rebelled.

But for business, 4 is as far as I go. Client meetings, although most days my business attire is jeans and no shirt since I work from home.

All of my suits except 1 are tailored, approximately half from Ecuador and half from Thailand. Global economy plus plus!

And forget double breasted these days all together IMO.

The more buttons the merrier as far as I'm concerned. Means the collar has to be higher, and the bottom of the jacket doesn't flop around, both positive things, IMO.

Also, I know it's out of style, but I have a double-breasted Hugo Boss suit, and I'm probably never going to own another suit made out of such nice wool, so I still like it.
