if the techniques in wing chun were replaced with the techniques in boxing it'd be a much better style

There's nothing wrong with Wing Chun, it's the sloppy unscientific and inefficient way everybody else fights which is the problem. Don't these people realise that the shortest route between two point is a straight line ? Don't they understand the inherent mechanical strength of triangles ?

He was the one that responded that it more closely resembled a Jut Sao because of the jerking downward and release motion, not because of the form. He isn't actually gripping so it isn't a Lop. He isn't "pushing" it left/right/back so it wouldn't be a Pak. Again, because of the camera angle, we might be seen it two different ways.

A guy pushes a hand out of the way and that means he's doing wing chun? Well, for that matter, he must've employed footwork, since he's on his feet, so he's doing TKD too. And I think his fingers closed around the other guys arm a little, which constitutes gripping, so he's also using Judo. This was a seriously technically advanced, cross-art punch here! :sleepy2:
