I recently went to the Shogun Ninja Seminar at the Boneyard on January 12. It was my first seminar, but it was also a lot of fun. They did mostly MMA stuff, although I'd probably prefer a grappling seminar due to my current situation, but this was a Christmas present so I can't complain. Ninja went over a lot of knee work with us and a little bit of modified guillotine submissions. Shogun went over a lot of kicking stuff with us.
Anywho, you guys might be interested to hear that Ninja is in the talks for dropping down to 185 and fighting Henderson for the belt.
Also, I got some shirts signed and bought a shirt and took a picture with Shogun. Oh and yes, my eyes do look uneven. I was up since 4:30am for my job, and then seminar ran until around 10:30pm.

As Napoleon Dynamite would say, "luckyyyyyy!"
Any interesting/unusual tips you learned from the seminar that could be passed on?

Yes, all of the stuff we learned seemed pretty useful. Well, perhaps some of the high kick stuff for me would be less useful because I'm not as flexible as I'd like to be. Pretty much everything we were taught can be seen being used in Shogun's or Ninja's fights. Of course, this is all very hard to demonstrate without pictures, so using words here would be a waste of time. =(
