Some of the pain compliance looks a little "convenient" if you ask me, and that one lady with the Jackie Chan gun disarm is a little more incredible.
But beyond that, even if Mr. Patire is a little imaginative when it comes to the capabilities of his art, I can't speak badly of his recommendation to escape & his training for various modern situations so one has some idea of what to do... Instead of using one of his pressure-point techniques, there are other martial techniques that could be adapted for similar effect.
