I was all ready to rag on them but then I watched the attack defense clip and well, at least you are padding up and sparring. You might find out what works and doesn't that way.

I don't get the "Reality Training" one. I presume it's supposed to promote the art's self defense aspects, but the WC guy gets his butt handed to him.

Only watched one video so far..seems they have the right idea training wise by what they say, but how good there actual wing-chun is I cant say...first video i watched I looked closely at the background...if you watch the way they are punching it kind of looks ridiculous..looks like they are lifting their fists up then lowering them in some retarded fashion...anyone else notice?

    Not bad over-all,
But they really need to keep their hands more free, and focus on blocking some of those strikes, sure right now they are padded but they hurt with bare fists.

Not bad though, the guy with the blading head has pretty good form.

Hey at least they spar right?

I know I'm a dirty noob and all but the "Baat Chum Dao" clip looks pretty bad. For a couple of reasons.

    Example:

Since returning to training I've been reminded that twirling a weapon is letting down your guard. Twirl and get hit. Institutionalizing a mistake by training it in a form is just bleh.

There no weapon twirling in the WC weapons stuff I know... thats more of an Arnis warm up thing.

As for the vids... the sparring videos (aka Attack and Defense) are the same old WC shite. Rolling punches and stamp kicks.... don't these guys know how to apply the rest of the system?
