Agreed, Hughes has got some good takedowns, and he is like a bull. Never gives up the drive and will always finish if it takes him 3 or 4 minutes to do so.
That is basically all Hughes has though, but he did impress me with the submission of St.Pierre. So I see Hughes still improving and he is not letting himself become one dimensional.I'll make one when I can find one I like. -

I thought the ending of that fight was bullshit, though I'm not 100% sure since they didn't do any replay for some reason. IIRC, Sakurai threw gomi, but gomi was on the ropes and rebounded off them on the way down, so he ended up on top of sakurai instead of on the bottom. If they weren't next to the ropes, Sakurai's throw wouldn't have been interrupted and I think it would have ended differently.

I have to disagree. The fact is, they were by the ropes, Gomi did wind up on top, he did punish Sakurai on the ground, and he did subsequently knock Sakurai out.
If you're right about why Sakurai's takedown phaild, well, then it was a stupid mistake hardly befitting a PRIDE champion, and he paid the price.
