Both of these injuries took place in the summer of 2003:
1.) This injury happened to my BJJ instructor at the time (Black Belt, KP's current instuctor), not me: While going for a takedown on the sweatiest guy on the planet, he slipped in a puddle of the guy's sweat and fractured his ankle.
2.) This injury is extremely minor but humorous: I am a big strong guy. It took me many moons to realize that I was not rolling in a relaxed state. Because I used so much strength, BJJ instructor from above was a little rough with me (I totally deserved this), and in a no-gi class gripped my wrist so hard that it bruised in an exact imprint of his hand. You could see the fingers and everything. It was awesome.
Within the last year: We were working on a V-sweep on a standing opponent and the guy practicing it on me got really enthusiastic and swung his leg around REALLY hard -- right into my nose. His heel nailed me right in the face and knocked me clean off my feet. The cartilage in my nose has never been the same. -
Exasperated.

This has been plaguing me for the past 3 weeks or so, and is the weirdest thing I've had -
I got taken down, and landed hard on my elbow. Now the elbow joint itself is fine, but the area went deep brown and swelled up nicely.
Nowadays, the swelling has gone down totally, and I can do whatever I want, but if the skin over the elbow moves too far in one direction, it hurts like all buggery. (The sort of pain that leaves you feeling nauseous)
I think I may have torn the fascia in my elbow, but in reality I have no idea. I've been taping the hell out of it while doing training, and it seems to be okay when I do that.
It's totally annoying because it seems like a totally superficial injury, but it prevernts me from leaning on my elbow, and it's the side I like to work half guard from. -

Got all spazzy and kneed myself on the hand when mounted. My middle finger is now much wider than any of my other fingers at the base.
Got pushed backwards from sitting down with my foot in line with the shin flat against the ground in september some time and it still hurts a bit.
