Yeah man. Good thing is not a broken toe, and that I'm not training for a week.

The pain is almost gone, but there is some discomfort. Plus, there is a purple area that looks like a hematoma on the outside where the big toe joins the foot (as show in the pic). I bought some sport tape and toes separators and I already have it taped... seems to be working. Well see how long it takes for the hematoma to dissapear.

The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris

Oh well, the swelling is gone, and, ignoring a bit of stiffness, my toe is back to normal. After some icing, tiger balm and taping, that seemed to do the trick. Anyways, experimenting with the tapes - cuz I've never taped my toe before, and since there are like a fuckizillion ways of taping them (according to google), I did some experimenting, and more or less I got an idea of taping them that seem to work (at least for me). If you care to see (or if you have nothing better to do), you can find more about it in my training log.

Wear wrestling shoes over the tape while it heals.
