    Dear reader:

What you read above is the product of an almost two year investigation. In the next week or so I will be updating this report to account for at least one news article that is being written as of this date.

Well over a dozen people contributed their time on this report. I first need to thank Samurai Steve and Gringo Grande for doing their best to proof read sections of this article and fix its broken links. I would like to thank Wounded Ronin for his French translations, Kickcatcher for poking around in London. Gene Ching of KungFu Magazine for willingly disclosing information when lesser editors would have given us the cold shoulder. Lazy Tiger for running down some information for us in Belgium, Donn Gwinn for his insight into firearms. Our own Administrator Asia for calling his relatives on the Broward County Sherriff's Department, and liuzg150181 for doing research for us in Singapore. There are probably twice that many people who donated something to this project, thank you, you know who you are.

Lastly any mistakes are my own and not the responsibility of Bullshido

    Happy reading!

    Samuel P. Browning Esq :)

Good thing that Hapkido knifework has a distinctive signature. Snark, hapkido of all things.

this is a work of art, man....
And lo, Kano looked down upon the field and saw the multitudes. Amongst them were the disciples of Uesheba who were greatly vexed at his sayings. And Kano spake: "Do not be concerned with the mote in thy neighbor's eye, when verily thou hast a massive stick in thine ass".

Bravo. This once again sets the bar for the type of investigative work that Bullshido can do. I compliment you on the research and presentation. Its also a great reminder of what the community can do when it works together.

Great write-up, Sam. This is exactly how this stuff should be presented so we don't run into any more huge clusterfucks like the last one. Granted, this one was a much longer time in the making. Two years for all the work, or just two years ago since you thought to do it?

And one thing: Race Bannon? Johnny Quest, anyone?

Great job. Because I've got an obsessive streak, I want to mention that coating a bullet in Teflon actually makes it harder to get it through a Kevlar/Spectra vest. Nobody puts Teflon on a bullet to make it penetrate body armor.
His adventure with Sidelle sounds like bad fanfiction based on De Niro in Ronin.

Hey Don, what do you think are the chances that in 1991, the year the design was ordered, that an interpol assassin could get their hands on a H & K Mark 23? Secondly would any pro, use an untested prototype in the field?

If you wanted to look up some webpages for you're answer I'd be quite greatful.
