half guard bottom. guy was about 10 or 15 pounds heavier than me. a failed pass. oh god. i remember having to push them back out. worse grappling experience ever!

only problem is that you will get plenty of people here who will cite a video of some dude getting hit like 8 times in the groin in the UFC and say its not effective...

its not guaranteed to take someone down 100% of the time, but it certainly will take down the average person, who isn't high, who isn't an elite fighter, etc most of the time or at the very least create an opening to do something else.

Well, ok then.

I remember being kneed in the balls and while simultaneously kneeing the other guy in the balls. Sadly his legs were longer so I came off worse.

By the next morning my one testicle was the size of medium size mango and just as hard.

Hating doctors I waited three days (of barely being able to walk) till I went and got it checked out. I was sent straight down to A&E where a nasty guy put me on a table and jammed the BIGGEST syringe needle I have ever seen into my swollen nut and drained the blood.

One of the worst few days of my life.

Yep... Hackney Vs. Joe Son is the most awesome example of it. Keith is leterally punching him in the balls from half guard at least 5 times.

I must be a lucky guy, whenever I do any physical activity, my nuts retreat into my body and my weiner shinks into frightened turtle status. It cuts the nut shot chance to 10% or less.

Accidental nuts shots put me on my knees. The only time I was intentionally hit in the nads - by a guy in HS when nutshots were some sort of trend - I stayed up long enough to lay him out.

yeah yeah it wasn't TEH R34L nutshot, and I was indeed high, but nut shots aren't the rape defence insta-fall over hit some people would like to believe. To say anything but a .45 will 'certainly' take someone down isn't the whole truth.
