Agreed. If memory serves, he was only down once prior to that, and he seemed to just be stalling until he was stood up again. Not much fun.

I do have to agree that the stoppage was wayyyy too quick. But I'm not too angry given the show he (didn't) put on.

It's a shame, he's quite a talent.

It's just the other dude showed up for business instead of play.

Worst stoppage of the year. I don't think Genki was winning that fight, since Kid is an absolutely terrible matchup for him, but I would've liked to see him given a chance to actually fight it out.

Alright, I got the video. You have to love the look on Genki's face after he has supposedly been stopped by strikes. Just a huge smile. Also, Genki is ready to pop right back up after the stoppage but the ref has to hold him down.
