As Ben pointed out, all you need to destroy a droid is molten lava. Whereas all the humans fighting in the molten lava factory in T2 survived. Therefore, the clones have an upper hand.

Only Mustafar has lava on the surface in a significant amount, and one planet isn't enough to win a war.

    you may mock.

there are scientists working within the robotics arena who consider it to be the next phase of human evolution along with nanotechnology, and absolutely inevitable.

..in which case this may well turn out to be handy, particularly if your mechanoid is the robotic equivalent of a Rover Montego.

have you guys seen this? http://www.terrybisson.com/meat.html

quite amusing and relevant to this, if not to bullshido.. :new_infin

The future might end up being similar to the ending of Spielberg's A.I. Thousands of years in the future, robot archaeologists will scour the earth, looking for the remains of their human creators. Of course, we have to survive long enough to at least create robots that are capable of designing and building newer and more advanced robots.

The current technological advances in computer and biological integration far exceed the advances in artificial intelligence. It is more likely that we will simply integrate and become 'cyborgs' rather than become overun by a society of rebel machines. DNA computers, micromachines capable of harnessing parts of blood as energy, and the various other ways science is trying to mimic nature. It is a simple fact that science has yet to even meet the efficiency of many things found in nature and instead try to copy them. I wouldn't be fearing a robot uprising any time soon.

That's why you carry a lava factory with you, like in Terminator 2.

Mustafar was a gigantic lava factory, which is why I mentioned it.

I'm not sure what they needed lava for though. Maybe the real super weapon wasn't going to be the Death Star, but a LAVATORR.
