Sidekick is one of our main weapons; they work the way we do them in Sanda.
Most MT peeps* eat them like popcorn :new_popco

Don't hate on sidekicks because theyre ghey, its not like theres' anything wrong with that :toothy2:

Learn to get around them then. I've seen side or front push kicks set up punch in kick boxing/MT fights. Prolly not the best idea to eat them all the time.

We drill side steps around them into roundhouses in TKD, and it takes some of the problem away. You'll eat a couple but it works *shrugs* even though it is the dreaded TKD we learn it in.

Well, i saw a video of two muay thai guys fighting, in the end it ended with a k.o with a side kick.

Then i read the file, it was sanda.

Looks like good **** to me!

I have connections with a Wushu school in China and they have a SanDa program. After seeing them I can say that they train the side kick pretty diligently and, at least at that school, they use the side kick as much as a round kick if not more.
