See now if they called it fun fighting club, I would just applaud and laugh at the stupid kid stuff....cause most guys I know have done something similar...just not on the internet and posing as 'tough' about it.

2.Since we shouldn't discriminate by age, what about adults "playing"? Bullshido throwdowns, dog brothers, ect are a similar format to what these kids are doing. Not everyone that goes is trained for full contact fights.

3.How was wrestling developed? I'd reckon it got it's start by kids playing. Admitidly i dont' know much of the history of wrestling.

4.Depends what you mean by playing. They are going full contact and that's good enough for me to be called fighting.

    1. You cannot find the starting point for where warriors learned from, because as far back as recorded history goes, there have been warriors. Regardless of whether it started with a caveman beating another caveman to death with a stick, it was the caveman with know-how that then showed others. Not bothering to learn from someone with knowledge shows intentional ignorance...or severe arrogance.

    2. Learn from the more knowledgable - AND - playfully beat the hell out of each other. If these kids had 2-3 instructor level people helping them 'throwdown' then I think they would get invited to Bullshido rather than ridiculed on it.

    3. See either point 1 or consider the development of UFC style competition. Somebody, somewhere said - "Lets take our battlefield knowledge and make it a little safer, so we can have some practice without all the injuries and death."

    4. My 9yr old nephew hits as hard as he can when we playfight too....I sure as hell don't call it 'full contact fighting' though. :toothy12:

    . agreed.

I think that "Spanish Flea" would have been an infinitely more appropriate bit of background music. But then, I think that Spanish Flea is the perfect background music for most videos, including CNN Headline News.

Our filmer didn't show up, but here's some written descriptions. Not the final draft however, cuz I tend to forget stuff, and other people will be adding things about their fights

about the pics...keep in mind this site is for high schoolers...

6 of us are trained to some degree.

This is against everything I have trained for and believe in. These are KIDS, not fighters. These KIDS have no place trying to fight without the proper training. It is counter productive and will generate injuries while re-enforcing bad habbits.

Like my teacher used to say... "Fighitng without martial arts training is like swimming without a life jacket."
