Kikkoman:
Two uninstructed people wildly flailing at each other is a bad thing for at least two reasons:
1) You can adopt all sorts of really bad habits without really thinking about it. No one is there to correct you. Turning your back on someone punching you is a really bad idea, but pretty much everyone in that video did it.
2) Although people doing this sort of thing will eventually learn some things that are useful to them about brawling (which is sort of what this is), the braincells-lost-to-useful-things-gained ratio is badly skewed in favor of lost brain cells. -

How do you think muay thai, jiujitsu, and boxing were created? The first guys probably weren't as good as todays top MMA fighters, but they had to learn somehow.
What if they don't have a MMA school nearby? If your not next to a big city it's very hard to train. -

I saw no evidence of any training, did you? Also, figuratively speaking, the wheel of MT, JJ and boxing has already been invented. What is the point of painfully and slowly trying to reinvent it in a way that is not going to be nearly as effective or as refined? All I saw in those videos was the formation and reinforcement of horrible bad habits which the practitioners were obviously so proud of, they made a DVD to sell. Sorry if I don't break out into wild applause.

Why are you so keen to defend these guys? You're not one of them, are you? -

I don't think boxing was created by guys going around killing people. Probably created from ordinary fist fights and guys training together.

This video exemplified why there is merit in TMA's. Most TMA's have been developed to dispatch people who fight at this standard, not professional fighters. I'm sure someone with a years training even in TKD could make short work of most of those guys. Of course that's not to say that someone doing MT/BJJ might wouldn't do a lot better.
