Why are you buying protein powder in the first place? I ask because a lot of people drink it unnecessarily. Protein powder is absolutely no better for you than protein found in your food, and it's much more expensive.

About once a week I make a drink in the morning in the blender using whey protein.

A one lb bag lasts seemingly forever.

    1 cup rice milk
    1 banana
    2 cups frozen strawbwrries
    1/4 cup whey protein

It's a quick and healthy alternative to cooking.

Like I said, I only get ~120g of protein per day INCLUDING the shakes. I don't eat much in the first place, even though I try to. Or, for example, I'll eat pancakes or waffles for breakfast. Almost no protein there. I avoid eggs if I can and chicken gets old after a while. I usually just have one in the morning or after I work out. No big deal. That's why it's taking me so long to eat it all.

Stir the protein powder into the pancake batter.

Whenever I have oatmeal, I'll stir a scoop of protein powder in when it's done cooking. It gives it a good flavor.

I inadvertantly ate some protein powder that expired 2 months ago. Gave me bad gas cramps and even worse than usual smelling protein farts.
