Based on my own supply of supplements & their expiration dates, protein powder is usually good for 1-2 years. -

According to my friend, hotsauce actually gets better as it gets older. His reasoning? He thinks it does, therefore it does.

First off, if you are buying "protein powder" that is composed of ingredients non-related to protien (fillers, sugars, etc..) then weight means little. Sugar is probably twice as heavy as pure whey proein for instance.
I usually buy from Vitamin World since they are almost always having a 50% off or "2 for 1" sale.
Most people eat WAY too much protein and it just ends up going down the pipes anyway.
I haven't tasted what comes out of a dog's ass so I'll just have to defer to the experts. ;) -

Can't remember the sugar content, but I didn't buy a weight gainer, so it's mostly protein.
I bought from bodybuilding.com, so that's probably my mistake.
I only get about 120g of protein per day if I keep to my schedule (i.e. eat instead of saying "I'll eat later")
Like I said, it's taken me like 4 months now to finish a 5lb container. -

The best way to buy is in bulk and then split it up with a freind or three:
