    Hell yeah! Hell no!
Lol....this is exactly like the clip from the other week where a BJJ guy just owns Judo players.

I never liked Judo, since when I watch Judo matches the people just always fall on each other. I have never seen any really good clean throws, maybe that is what I need to see to get a feel for how Judo competitions should look.
I'll make one when I can find one I like.

Come watch one of my matches, I get thrown flat on my back all the time.

Also putting a professional fighter in a local tournament does not prove anything about Judo or BJJ. BJ Penn is a pro…he should win. What I like about BJJ and Judo is that people from different styles can enter each other’s tournaments and compete. And competition makes both styles better.

Watched the 2003 world judo championships in Osaka on TV every day it was on while I was in Japan, there was some pretty **** in there.

And if the description of that video is accurate, entered as a white belt in 97 (google video isn't playing for me), BJ should feel like an asshole for that sand bagging massacre.

    Quite right…

It is like entering Kazushi Sakuraba in a local BJJ tournament as a white belt and then saying that pro-wrestling is obviously superior to BJJ.

According to http://www.bjpenn.com/bio.html BJ started training jiu-jitsu in 1997, when this video was supposedly shot, so he would have been a white or blue belt at the time in bjj.

Jesus...if that is him at 1 year, he is amazing. Very smooth transitions and clean ground skills :(

Now I feel I need to work harder in the gym.
I'll make one when I can find one I like.
