    So can you not use “guard” in submission wrestling. I saw some use of half guard, one instance of what looked like a butterfly guard, and a brief moment of open guard. If you hold you opponent in guard, or is that considered being pinned?

    I was going to ask the same thing, what are the rule sets for this submissions wrestling, I don't know why they can't replace traditional Greco style wrestling in highschool to this.

    Actually I really hated wrestling in Highschool, and wish they had boxing/BJJ ;p
    I'll make one when I can find one I like.

    12:10 - Is that Genki Sudo? I can't really see his face clearly. I see he has a beard, and his style sure is Sudo-esque. They're pals, so as long as they didn't have to beat eachother's face in, I wouldn't be surprised to see them compete in a tournament setting.
