    Hell yeah! Hell no!
Nonsense, a post that refutes over a hundred misinformed opinions deserves it's own thread, nay, it's own altar.

If you could be right without being a complete ass it would help.

How will bullshido survive this loss of drama?
You can't make people smarter. You can expose them to information, but your responsibility stops there.

    (14:17:30) Shuma: Really?
(14:17:53) Ronin: Unofficially Friday, officially this morning.
(14:18:27) Shuma: I logged in just now and viewed that I once again destroyed the rep system... apparently.
(14:18:44) Ronin: Your chi is way powerful !

(14:20:57) Shuma: I see Phrost is implementing the moderation aspect of SA.
(14:21:11) Ronin: But You and Aeso ( I always forget his real name) were right.
(14:21:18) Shuma: Matt. But go on.
(14:21:43) Ronin: The site is beyond fixing, I really never knew untill I became an admin.
(14:22:07) Ronin: Heck, even Wastrel said as much before he left...
(14:22:48) Shuma: I could fix it, but it would be very unpopular no matter how I went about it.
(14:22:58) Shuma: But that's because the popular opinion is dumb.

    you emphasized the wrong thing.

    The actual quote was:

"Ronin: The site is beyond fixing, I really never knew untill I became an admin."

Which doesn't make much sense given the fact that the only difference between him being a moderator and an admin was a few extra buttons to push. It's not like we have seperate staff forums for each group.

But drama sells better than common sense and cool heads I guess.

It gave him a high-level overview of how this site is doomed to failure from the very top down.
