it'd be more impressive if you could do it the other way...
FACT- Eddie Bravo invented the triangle choke when he used it to tap out helio gracie at an ac/dc concert.

I'm thinking about trying to get here:

from north-south. Does that seem like a low percentage gimmick to anyone? Seems like stripping and pinning an arm while I bring the leg around may be difficult, but I really like the Kimura (with the legs) from Kesa, and this seems like the same idea.

I have dreamed of this for a long time but it never really works on any one good. You'll get it on a couple people but I don't think it's too high percentage. Maybe you'll have better luck but if you can get someone's arm out that far from north south you probably have better things you could do with it.

I was thinking the same of the 'off the shot' attempt, kind of seems like a pipe dream (or it'd turn into just a 'regular' omaplata). Idea being, they shoot say your left outside leg, push head down, get left leg to outside of theirs, turn/step to facing away, over shoulder roll. Again, i haven't even had time to walk through it with a partner, but it seems like you'd end in a rolling, yet regular, omaplata. It'd end up being more flash than worth I think.

Junkie, I could see it from side mount or a rear-facing scarf-hold (whats that name again?).
