This catches a lot of people by suprise for some reason.

It works suprisingly well, when it works.
I do this every couple of weeks for the humor but not too frequently because I don't want people to be too wary of it.
If anyone is watching it also get a guaranteed laugh too, which makes it even funnier. -

Newest gimmick, has a half life of probably a week and I don't expect to get it except on a handful of blues and some of the whites:
When they are mounted on you get the baseball bat grip, but a little tighter. Upa a little to create space. Roll under them so you're on your stomach. Your hands are now crossed and up over your head. Pretty tight and even if you can't get the choke you can roll them over you and end up in N-S.
Another case of independent invention. Stupidist thing I've tried in awhile that actually paid off. -

Taoofcrime: oh, I did a lockdown halfguard wristlock
Taoofcrime: which I now christen the locklock
FlangWangler: So in theory you could immediately take the back from De la Riva and call it "taking the back from standing".
FlangWangler: Explain.
FlangWangler: (I saw footage of a black belt taking one of his student's backs by doing a one-handed cartwheel on to them while they hunched over in stalling posture.)
Taoofcrime: they're in your half guard. you have lockdown but they have underhooks. sit up and try to kimura. when they hide their arm under their body, reach under their armpit, put your chin on their tricep and pull the wrist in a mao de vaca

Mounted Guillotine.
Only funny because I have done it to the same guy 6 or 8 times in the last three weeks. He keeps jumping into it from side control. Also, it is funny because he tries to muscle me when I outweigh him by a good 70 pounds, and he thinks he should be able to armbar me now that he's been in class a total of three weeks (He actually said this. Yeah, I give him another three weeks. He'll totally be armbarring my head off by then.)."No. Listen to me because I know what I'm talking about here." -- Hannibal -

And the hits just keep on rolling in . . . I went for a mounted triangle on a white belt that made the mistake of trying to hide his arm under my leg, then rolled over to finish but I had my hand in his very loose collar and managed to accidentally cornholio him as I was locking in the triangle, and I didn't see it until I had already rolled.
