I did these on a new guy that is my size and really rough with the smaller guys:
Took his back, trapped one arm with my legs, underhooked his other arm and pushed into his carotids with my knuckles. I call it the atomic neck noogie.
During a drill where he started mounted: Instead of escaping, I reversed his mount into a boston crab ankle lock (a lock'n'flow link to this technique is somewhere on bullshido).
Loose change (think stack choke but where you get shaken by your britches repeatedly to make it look like you've been turned upside down and a bully is trying to shake your pockets out).
Next week: Banana splitters for everyone! -

Flying kickout sweep/The Velociraptor: This is your standard kick the knees out sweep, but you do it in midair. Standing, grab cross collar on one side and wrist control on the side you intend to sweep. Jump, climb onto his thigh and kick with the bottom your feet, pulling the controlled wrist up as you do so. He will land with no base, so just come to your knees.
The call of cthulhu: You have north south or side control. Grab behind their collar with both hands, squat and pull as hard as you can as if you're lifting a heavy package. Yell "La Cthulhu! La!" as you do this and jump on their back.

It seems that the only people who support anarchy are faggots, who want their pathetic immoral lifestyle accepted by the mainstream society. It wont be so they try to create their own.-Oldman34, friend to all children -

This isn't precisely mine, but it's something I've been playing with lately with some good results.
"Whose guard is this? MINE, BITCH!!"
Essentially, when in closed guard, stand, incline a knee in, like you're defending a sweep attempt. Throw the angled leg over your opponent,, fall back, throw the other leg over and cross your feet for a strange kind of leg locking guard. Sit back to break your opponent's guard.
From here, options abound:
- Straight ankle lock
- Heel hook
- Toe hold.
- Whacky guard pass: Lift one leg over your head, and move yourself over to the side. Grab something (arm, torso). Bring your opponent onto his/her side, and extract your legs to go to side control or mount.
- Half-crab ankle lock: Grab leg like a normal ankle lock, and roll over to your stomach. Sit up and crank. (When done right, no can defend)
Rules of thumb:
1. Time is on your side. Your opponent has no choice but to try to undo your legs, which is going to take a while, given your inconvenient position. Within that time, you will definitiely be able to pull off something
2. Legs over your opponents actually = dominant position. Don't be afraid to go for the pass. You will get better position out of it, regardless of what your opponent does.Last edited by NSLightsOut; 1/05/2006 9:50pm at .
