Valuev won but lots of people are saying ruiz was robbed and I can't find it online. They had the slap on sports center but I only saw a brief clip of it.
Apparently ruiz's manager grabbed the belt out of Valuev's hands and Valuev's manager slapped the **** out of him to get it back.
Anyone here see the fight?
You can't make people smarter. You can expose them to information, but your responsibility stops there.

No but this looks pretty nuts:
How do you fight that?

Ruiz is a horrible fighter, I can't see him beating anyone who isn't a far worse fighter. He move like a pregnant yak.

I saw it. I could've seen the decision going either way, but it wasn't a robbery or anything. The only thing Ruiz could really complain about was Valuev's constant holding behind the head, and frankly given the ridiculous holding that referees have let Ruiz get away with, I have no sympathy for him whatsoever.

Just out of curiosity, how do you think that goon would fare in a boxing match against Tim Sylvia?

Wow. This guy looks like a monster, I hear not much in the skills department. A match between him and either Tim Sylvia or Bob Sapp might be fun to watch. Does this guy have to give Ruiz a rematch?

He had a good jab, kept his hands up, and had okay defense when you consider how much real estate he's trying to protect. Slow and plodding, and his other punches didn't seem to have a lot of zip on them, though.

God, I hope not.

Are you saying he moves worse than Ruiz? If so, God help the Heavyweight Division, becasue these guys surely won't.

I saw the fight since it was aired live here in Germany at the non-pay-tv.
It was not a spectacular event, but I did not expect it to be one.
Only thing I can remember is that Valuev managed to get some good shots at Ruiz in the last round.
So calling it robbery is too hard.
