    Jason "Mayhem" Miller Arrested

    Jason "Mayhem" Miller Arrested

(KHNL) 25-year old fighter Jason Miller - known as "Mayhem" - was arrested Friday afternoon. He turned himself into the Kalihi Police Station following an incident that occurred at 6:15 am. Miller was transported to the Honolulu Police Department's main station around 7:00 pm.

KHNL News 8 is still learning details of his arrest. But we do know that Miller was arrested for burglary in the first degree and assault in the third-degree.

Miller is a mixed-martial arts fighter with Icon Sport - formerly known as Superbrawl. His latest victory was in October. He defeated Falaniko Vitale at the Neal Blaisdell Center.

His next fight is scheduled for February 11, 2006 against Robby Lawler. No word yet from the promoter if that fight is still on. Miller was scheduled to have a seminar on Saturday. But that workshop has been cancelled.

He kinda has a Matt Hughes face in that picture.

Damn that sucks... I saw him in person just a few months ago kicking ass at NAGA. He was a pretty nutty guy, he drew swords samaurai swords with another champ there. What is assault in the third degree?

    Taken from: http://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/hrscur..._0707-0712.HTM

707-712 Assault in the third degree. (1) A person commits the offense of assault in the third degree if the person:

    (a) Intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly causes bodily injury to another person; or

    (b) Negligently causes bodily injury to another person with a dangerous instrument.

    (2) Assault in the third degree is a misdemeanor unless committed in a fight or scuffle entered into by mutual consent, in which case it is a petty misdemeanor. [L 1972, c 9, pt of 1; gen ch 1993]

I like the part i highlighted.

He's from my neck of the woods.....

I kind of like seeing GSP beat the **** out of him because hes such a cocky prick in person.

Nothing beats the time I saw Tito corner him in a fight in Atlanta only to have Todd Carney(i think thats who it was) choke him quickly. I laughed for a good 3 days at Tito's dissappointed look.

    Burglary varies state to state.

Also this depends on state laws for example. Here in Colorado burglary is residential entry with intention of commiting any other crime. So it he took a stick of chewing gum after entering a residence uninvited that would also be burglary. I cant speak to the nature of the laws in Hawaii but if he were here and he went into his exgirlfriends house uninvited then commited the assult that would be burglary. If at any point he touched his ex-girlfriend then it would be Third degree assult domestic Violence and burglary. If i were charging him it woudl be harrasment DV, thrid degree assult, and burglary, but I like to swing for the fences when I can.

Here is another neat thing about the law in Colorado. If you go into somones house uninvited but you do no damage entering nor do you take any items or commit any other crimes. Then it is just trespassing.

Sorry one more neat little thing. Breaking into a Soda machine in the state of Colorado is 3rd degree burglary. 1) Because you have to force entry(damage). 2.)Vending machines are considered a buisness (trespassing) 3). You stole money/product from the machine itself (theft).
