As an addendum to my earlier thread concerning Sport Jiu Jitsu here is a video clip showing full contact Jiu Jitsu

As far as I can find out the only rules are no hitting to the face when on the mat

Isn't "Full Contact" just a term that means full speed full power ? Didn't knew it related with striking.

So normal grappling is only half contact ?

Anyway, thats pretty much MMA and it rox, wish there was more of those things going on.

Some appeared to be bareknuckle at a distance, but when the video zoomed in you could often make out gloves.

That seems like a pretty kick ass tourney. Wonder if that organization, being international and all, has similair events in the US. Cause, damn!

Seems like MMA, except no GnP, and it is Gi only.
