I just wanted to know what yall thought about this no question that it would be effective but it dosnt seem to be capable of stopping someone without breaking them in half or hospitilizing them i love it but i was just probing for more opinions

(sorry if this thread is in the wrong place...i can access all the different parts of this site due to school blocks and such)

What the Hell are you talking about?

Is there a location or link you can give us to their website?

Do you have any experience with this?

Did you search to see if this has been mentioned before?

I'm wondering what some of your thoughts are on this guy. I just started taking classes under one of his students in my area and I have to say it seems pretty legit as far as practicality in a street fight. I've also recently gone to a Francis Fong seminar with a couple of his students and they seemed to be known and repected among the rest of the martial arts crowd there.

I think the main reason I've stuck with this class over any other is because they offer it on Tues mornings. I've got a weird work schedule and most other martial arts schools in the area meet when I'm not available.

Progressive fighting systems are ones in which, well, you start fighting standup, progress to takedowns, progress to grappling, and then progress to anal rape.

Or at least thats what I'm assuming...
Jesus loves you. I think you're an asshole.

Oh, we were just supposed to read your mind over the Internet and figure out which site you were talking about. I see.

Are you too deadly to spar yet?

I've taken other martial arts over the last 20 or so years and I've just started taking a class from one of this guy's students. I have to say I like it. He's not pushing it as some kind of ultimate fighting art or anything like that...that would probably just make me head for the door and flame him on this site. I think it's a good quality workout and I'm getting a lot out of the class. There's a lot of real world practical technique presented. Like any other art, I think it boils down to how good the teacher is at presenting the material. If you get a lot out of yours, keep going. My instructor calls the class JKD, not progressive fighting system or anything like that, but he is listed on fighting.net as one of the certified instructors.

I think this is true. I went to a PFS dojo a few times. Its suckability was tremendous. (meeting a shoot with chain punches and eyegouges and no physical exertion in any way.)
