Would those be good for doing bag work? Cause I'm looking for gloves with enough wrist support(i'm a girl) but arent' closed hand like the 12 oz gloves that every other woman wears in the class.

Harbinger gloves are the best for bag work.

That's totally true BUT they have a grip bar that can be awkward for grappling and they hurt(the other guy) way more in sparring.

I have a pair of harbingers, and I decided to cut the bar out of them. They are sweet for bag work :)

The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris

.....Whitshark needs to read a bit closer. She asked specifically what gloves for hitting bags. I've always hated when people where harbinger gloves for sparring. Especially 5 years ago when the padding was more dense.

I know but I've been hit with Harbinger gloves enough times to remind everyone. Ouch! The cowhide on them also tends to give you mat burn on your face.

Well I'm getting the first two I posted. One pair for me, and one for whomever I'm gonna spend the night hitting assuming they don't have a pair on them. Thanks for the comments and advice.

So you ask and we tell you one glove and you go for the others. I hate when you fuckers do this.

It's like when your wife asks, " Do I look fat in this dress?"
