Buying new MMA gloves
I destroyed my old century mma training gloves fighting with them, and have finally decided to put down money a decent new pair. Here's two I've considered, but I'm not too sure how the open thumb would feel. It just looks as if the glove would be loose and sliding around if I tried to grapple with them. My old ones had a thumb loop so my thumb was loose but secure, and they worked great. Any thoughts?

Freeform thumb w/loop

These I found interesting because they cost $50 american but only 25euro. I'm not sure how the translation works out but I'm pretty sure that buying them from the store across the pond would save me money with the exception of shipping.

I've been using the Free thumb gloves you posted for training and sparing without issue so far. Our club has a ton of these gloves for people to use who do not have their own gloves. This is also the glove we supply fighters with at our shows. So far no one has complained and most people really like the glove. For the most part everyone in our club uses a open palm and thumb glove (either the glvoe in question or a fairtex glove).

Yeah, looks like you'll save a couple o bucks.
I guess these are made overseas? That's the only way this makes sense to my brain.
and the gloves with the loop look pretty sweet, but i really have no experience with MMA-style gloves. Be sure to post a review when you get 'em.:new_all_c -
