Every single one of those products is either broken or in the process of falling apart.

That's what I would expect with those prices. I was hoping to get some info on their more expensive stuff. I assume they make cheap stuff like that to get them distributed in more stores. I always see Everlast gear in every sporting goods store, but nothing else. Thanks anyway.

So I've started taking our MMA class at the gym and need to get some training gloves. I have small hands and tiny wrists, so I've had trouble finding a pair that I think will fit well. A classmate let me try a pair of his regular Combat Sports MMA Training gloves and they were loose on the hand and I had to wrap and wrap the velcro band to get it to stay on my wrist.

Does anyone have any experience with these?

They offer a small, which I think would fit me nicely.

yes, i have a pair of those and they are terrible. really bad copy of a shooto glove, the wrist wrap has very little support and comes undone, also they don't compress very well when you make a fist.

i like these in a small, we had some of the women in our school use them and they are great. i have the mediums and they are great as well: http://ouano.com/_product_72977/Shooto_MMA_Gloves

Thanks for the info and the link. Are those padded for training like the Combat Sports sparring gloves?

they are padded almost as well as the CS gloves, and better than those twins you posted. i find that the shooto gloves don't protect the thumb as well as the CS ones, but otherwise are very nice.

I'm buying some gloves for my Hung Gar / San Shou fight nights... I will need a pair of gloves for both sparring and bag work, as well as mma training gloves for grappling and throwing (though those can come after, need the full bodied babies first). I've kind of got it down to either RevGear or Rival. Is there one you prefer over the other?

The RevGear Platinum Leather glove looks pretty nice... https://www.revgear.com/product/20/boxing_gloves1

And does Everlast at least make a decent piece of leather headgear or is EVERYTHING they make crap (ie not just gloves) ? I only ask because I can get Everlast equipment at vendor cost, but would not like to use their gloves.. and Rival's headgear looks pretty nice and I want the go-ahead to buy it instead >.>

I go to school for art, it's my life, painting is my career - so my hands are kind of sacred and I'm trying to get the best glove I can for the money.. and I want one that will last some time as well.

I've had one of these for about five years: http://www.everlast.com/prodinfo.asp?number=EVPFH

It's perfect for western boxing; light, well-padded and durable. However, it's not very good for Thai boxing because the pad on the back doesn't extend far enough down the back of the head to stay secure when clinching. The headgear tends to pop right off when an opponent tries to grab the back of your head.

If you're not going to be doing any Thai-style clinching, I recommend it highly.

Just an update, these gloves have been great. My coach liked them so much he ordered several more pairs for folks at the gym.
