That's right. But you can feel empowered by your membership, can't you?

Dreadnought, I think you may be getting me wrong... I'm just giving examples of how people can feel when they are part of a martial arts organization... I felt a sense of belonging to something truly special when I did Kung Fu as a teenager and, false or not, felt empowered at the time.
For some, this is all they require. I also think that this sort of empowerment is promoted by CMA. This is my point. -

By what measure have you deemed yourself, a self admitted newcomer to MT, Boxing, BJJ, to have a more valid opinion than myself?

I feel the following lyrics from Metallica is appropriate for this situation.
"They say the empty can rattles the most
The sound of your voice must soothe you
Hearing only what you want to hear
And knowing only what you’ve heard"Last edited by hl1978; 1/17/2006 1:59pm at . Reason: poor grammar, added more lyrics

I remember some of it, but not all, so I in no way consider myself an authoritative source on wrestling technique, however I am not a total noob to ground work.Last edited by hl1978; 1/17/2006 1:55pm at .
