can you elaborate on that choke, is specifically a standing choke or just one that you used standing
In weightlifting, I don't think sudden, uncontrolled urination should automatically disqualify you.

I was hoping you would post that again. I love that! I never knew whether it was a judo or BJJ tournament.

That's why I love it so much.

I honestly cant give a fair assement on BJJ strikes. I know we do lots of them in Japanesse. Most standing chokes we would use do not leave your face exposed to blows. you might hit a ear or the side the head but if you lock on a good choke it dont take long for it to work and them to drop. I belive Judo Gene Lebells choke on a akido guy was done standing.

Actually it's easiest when somebody is throwing haymakers. I've done it a few times in street fights. You just do a duck under, take their back (standing) and apply the RNC. I always fell back to the ground out of habit, but I probably could have stayed on my feet had I wanted to.

don't you pull the person into you for most BJJ chokes to apply the leverage, wouldn't that negate a haymaker, and most of the power in a punch the head. Serious noobie question as opposed to arguing with Jeezy

I am a huge fan of the standing twister myself. I pull it off all the time in sparring.
