He said that I was one of a select few who could resist it. I just laughed. I think there is some validity in pressure points (hit someone in the temple with your knuckle/phoenix eye and it hurts like hell!), but I don't think they would be that good to use as a defensive/attacking skill -

There is some truth to pressure points. A persons body build and muscle mass can effect how well they work. In a whole I wouldnt try them in a fight at all though since so much suposedly affects how well they work. There are some nice places that cause lots of pain though that can be usefull in ground fighting. I honestly have heard something about women being imune to something related to some pressure points. I didnt pay atention because im not a huge beliver in it myself. It seems that the instructor would have known it wouldnt have worked on her though and not tried it on her.

You see the problems with them pressure points is that some idiots think that they're some kind of magic buttons that work just by touching them. Then even stupider idiots start believing they can use a remote control function on top of that again. Idiots...
That is just pure :bully: shido!
Then again, if there is a weak spot on someone compared to other places on their body, and a reasonably strong guy were to punch that spot with all his might, then it'd work better than if he were to land the same punch on the same persons ass or any other stupid place to punch.
AND I'VE BEEN LURKING!!! Before I registered... -
